Check out our new&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/janettehughes.ca\/lab\/programs\/steam-teams\/\">STEAM TEAMS initiative<\/a>!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Make Me!<\/strong>&nbsp;Participate in STEAM making challenges and utilize cross-curricular teaching resources. Challenges<\/a>&nbsp;page for the first challenge on civilizations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Class visits to the STEAM-3D Maker Lab:<\/strong>&nbsp;Want to engage your students in hands-on making activities?&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/janettehughes.ca\/lab\/programs\/uoit-maker-mobile-team\/\">Bring them to the Lab!<\/a>&nbsp;We can design a program that meets your students\u2019 needs or fits into your desired curricular focus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Related: Ontario Tech University\u2019s Online Maker Modules and<\/strong><br><strong>Technology Certificate Courses<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether you\u2019re an educator, parent, student or maker at heart, OTU\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>Online Maker Modules<\/strong>&nbsp;will help you explore Makerspace tools that will expand any maker\u2019s knowledge of how to create and\/or engage in rich learning opportunities. Participants will gain a deep understanding of various Maker tools and the pedagogy and best practices that go hand in hand with using these tools. These courses allow you to gain professional development in&nbsp;areas of Makerspaces,&nbsp;how to integrate technology into the classroom and how to enhance the writing process using technology tools. Take 1 course or take all 3 to broaden your understanding of Makerspace pedagogy and how it can be used in the classroom.
